Backloop Spin
Henning Nockel demonstrates the backloop spin
In wing foiling, a ‘spin’ is when the wing remains stationary in the direction of flight while the rider performs a rotation.
In this video, Henning Nockel demonstrates the backloop spin, also known as the Palau. Rider and board rotate like in a backloop, while the wing maintains the direction of flight.
This jump is performed one-handed. The rear hand holds the wing in the undergrip, while the front hand does not grab it again until the rotation is completed.
