Duotone Paradox SLS
New Parawing foilboard in five sizes
With its new Paradox board line, which weighs between just 3.5 and 5.6 kg thanks to its SLS construction, Duotone offers a specialized foil board for parawingers.
Designed with parawinging in mind, this board features a tapered outline with bevels extending deep into the hull, a step tail, a flat rocker, and minimal mass at the nose and tail.
Unlike a wing, a parawing doesn't pull upward during takeoff; instead, it generates more lateral forces on the board. That's why these boards are slightly longer and narrower than standard wing foil boards, allowing for faster acceleration and an early takeoff - everyone knows the old rule of displacement-type boats: length matters.
The narrow, surf-oriented shape reduces rail catch during tight turns, making the board suitable for wing foiling in waves as well as prone surfing.
Duotone is launching the Paradox SLS in five sizes ranging from 5'1“ to 6'7” (45, 60, 75, 90, and 105 liters). Price: €1,849 to €2,099.
