Starboard Germany is launching the #StarboardWingChallenge on Instagram: an open recruitment campaign for wing foilers. The prize is a sponsorship contract that includes equipment (wing, foilboard, and foil) worth over 6,000 euros.

It’s not just your skills that count – Starboard Germany isn’t looking for the perfect athletic profile, but rather the whole package: personality, riding style, a spirit of adventure, and exciting projects are just as important as your technical ability on the water. The challenge is intentionally open-ended – anyone who has a story to tell and lives and breathes wing foiling has a real shot at winning the sponsorship package.

Here’s how to participate: From May 1 to June 15, 2026, you can upload a post or a reel to Instagram, using the hashtag #StarboardWingChallenge and tagging @starboard_germany. Starboard Germany will then contact the participants.

After that, the challenge moves on to the next phase. The most impressive uploads will be judged by the Starboard team led by Elias Ouahmid and Xavi Corr, and three finalists will be selected. The trio will then meet in person in July or August 2026 to compete in a final competition. The winner will become a Starboard team rider!
