PPC Supersonic
The flying air mattress! Here you can see a prototype of the Supersonic double layer wing from PPC. The final race version will have the window size required for racing. PPC is thus introducing its patent-pending Embedded Strut Technology (EST, patent number: 836183) and claims that the drastically reduced radius of the leading edge is expected to increase efficiency by 10% to 25%, depending on the angle of attack. No further details have been disclosed yet, and the patent drawing is not currently available for viewing.
