Riding backwinded is a technique in wing foiling, a good preliminary exercise for other riding techniques based on it, such as the upwind 360 or downwind 360.
Wing foiling in the backwinded position: you stand on the leeward side of the wing and push it against the wind. This generates enough power o keep foiling.
