Backflip - clew first
Axel Gerard shows the backflip with a twisted wing
Before the clew first backflip, the wing is turned so that the trailing edge of the wing is ahead. Turning the wing works best on a slightly downwind course.
During the backflip rotation, the wing is held vertically on the lee side. You do not jump over it (unlike a normal backflip), but the wing rotates more like a disk.
