Toeside Wingpass Tack
Switch stance wingpass tack with hip leash
The wingpass tack is a tack in which you hold the wing drifting behind your back and also switch grips.
If you have the leash attached to your wrist, you’ll need to lift it over your head during the tack. However, you can avoid this if you use a hip leash.
To do this, simply rotate the hip belt slightly backward before the tack, then completely to the other side once on the new course. This way, the leash never gets in the way during this maneuver.
Here you can see the toeside version of the wingpass tack (in switch stance). Both hands meet behind your back and pass the wing at the leading edge handle.
