Duck Jibe

A casual way to do a jibe

Here’s how to let the wing fly during a duck jibe: initiate the turn and reach back with your front hand, keeping the boom at head height. As soon as your other hand lets go, the wing swings to leeward, swinging the front tube downward as it does so. Simply grab it again with your other hand, lift the wing slightly, and finish the turn.
