Parawing from Alien Foiling System

'Stow' is the name of the AFS parawing, which is available in three sizes (2.5, 3.5, and 4.5 m²). 480, 570, and 640 – these are the weights of the individual models in grams. Odd numbers ranging from 762.59 to 861.76 indicate how many euros lighter your wallet will be after a purchase.

One of AFS's requirements was that the parawing be easy to handle, especially during takeoff. This was achieved with the Power Loop, which affects the pull in the parawing. The lines are color-coded, and the packing lines are made of a larger diameter and spliced to optimize the glide of the fingers along them.

The lines are attached at two mounting points; this 'Arch bridle' serves as the base for securing the center line bundle, thereby allowing maximum freedom of movement on the 33.5 cm long carbon bar (same length for all sizes; comes with a harness line included).
