ION Foot Protector - abrasion protection on upper foot

ION Foot Protector

Neoprene protection against chafed tops of the feet when riding barefoot with foot straps

If you’re “lucky” enough to get out on the water so often that wear and tear starts to show on parts of your body, you’ll find that there’s an active accessories industry catering to such situations. If the tops of your feet are chafed by footstraps, you can, of course, wear surf boots. If you prefer the barefoot feel, you can find foot protectors from ION, for example, for a small price.

For those wondering how to put these on: Slip your foot through the large opening. Then thread your toes through the small holes from below – conveniently, there’s a separate hole for each toe. This provides additional padding for the instep with soft neoprene.

The material is stretchy (80% neoprene, 20% polyester); the ION Foot Protector is available in one size for 12.99 euros. For more information, visit: www.ion-products.com/...
