New Foils from Duotone

Crest SLS, Pop D/LAB, and Glide 3.0 in both versions

Duotone is introducing new foils today: The Crest front wing, which was introduced in 2026 using the D/LAB construction method, will also be available in an SLS version starting in 2027. Four sizes with surface areas of 800, 925, 1050 and 1200 cm² are offered in the SLS line.

This spring, we tested the 800 size of the Crest in the D/LAB: This foil is a carving machine that remains composed even during sharp carved turns and when the tips breaches. There were virtually no stalls in these situations; when turning back, you can simply continue foiling without the foil losing its line. On the other hand, this foil delivers just little pop on jumps and is slow to recover after landing. The ideal application for this medium-aspect front wing is effortless carving and gliding. Price range for the new SLS front wings: 559 to 709 euros.

You could almost mistake the Pop front wing for the Carve, but a closer look reveals its freestyle DNA. The focus is on speed and plenty of pop for jumps, which comes at the expense of glide and pump performance. The Pop D/LAB is now Duotone’s top choice for freestylers, available in 500, 650 and 800 cm² sizes for 809 to 859 euros.

The Glide front wing is launching as a 3.0 version. With an increased aspect ratio of around 12, pump and glide characteristics are set to improve. The new, Crest-inspired profile delivers more control and better turning behavior, even when breaching. The foil is designed to be stable at all speeds. The Glide 3.0 is available in the following sizes in the D/LAB version: 600, 700, 825, 950 and 1100 cm² (799 to 999 euros); 825, 950, 1100, 1250 nd 1400 cm² in the SLS version (569 to 769 euros).
