Wing Foil Trip to Lanzarote
Milla Danguy, Alan Fedit and Axel Gerard discover the volcanic island
A spontaneous trip to Lanzarote that came together at the last minute: AFS team riders Milla Danguy, Alan Fedit and Axel Gerard were on their way to two GWA World Tour events on Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura when their sponsor reached out to them: “Would you like to go on another adventure on the neighboring island?”
They didn't need to be asked twice - the route was changed, and a short time later, the three of them found themselves in a small house in the middle of Lanzarote. They were planning to shoot a video, which is why the two filmmakers, Dane Wilson and Lucas Le Bec, were along for the ride.
Lanzarote is a pretty rugged place. The island is almost entirely covered in lava, and there’s hardly any shelter from the elements. It’s windy almost every day, and there are waves almost all year round - you can always find a spot to ride your foil somewhere.
Open ocean swells were surfed with Parawings, and in the northeast of the island, there was also a pretty perfect day at the point break off Jameos de Agua.
The photos and the video embedded below capture some moments from the trip that Milla, Alan, and Axel are sure to remember for a long time.
