Pumping 360
Circuit run with a flagged wing
Around the World or Pumping 360 is the name given to a circle foil maneuver in wing foiling. The goal is to stay on the foils. Here you can see the trick in slow motion.
On a leg in the normal riding position (heelside), flag the wing and initiate the 360-degree turn in downwind direction. Start this glide move with plenty of speed and a high position on the foil. This helps you ride through the pumping 360 without having to pump too hard.
The key is lifting the wing at the end of the turn; if you go too slow, you'll lose your flight on the foil.
This move is easier if you use a fast front wing with good glide, like the Dolphin S from Indiana used here in the video.
