Wing and SUP
Learn to wingsurf on a stand-up paddleboard
Wing surfing is the term used for riding on a board without a foil, for example on a stand-up paddleboard or windsurf board (wing foiling is the correct term for riding with a foil under the board).
But beware: To be able to ride a SUP board with a wing, a center fin must be installed in addition to the rear fin. This additional fin works like a daggerboard and prevents drifting.
Special SUP boards with a windsurfing or wing option offer this feature (one or more fins in the center of the board). For normal SUP boards without a center fin, there are fins that are attached with a strap.
On a large SUP board, you have good stability and can easily get used to steering with the wing.
This video tutorial shows you how to start wingsurfing with a SUP board.
