Head & joint protection for wing foiling from Prolimit

Head and joint protection

Prolimit offers knee and elbow pads for wing foilers

Following the release of the Shield wetsuit with built-in reinforcements, Prolimit now also offers specialized protectors for the knees and elbows. These lightweight and flexible pads are worn over the wetsuit; they not only protect the high-stress areas of the wetsuit from wear and tear but also cushion the joints, which frequently come into contact with the board when standing up.

In addition to two different water sports helmets, Prolimit has added a bucket hat and a cap with a built-in ABS shell to its lineup. While these offer less protection than a helmet, they are more comfortable to wear and reduce the impact of contact with hard parts of the equipment.

Bucket hats and caps are worn primarily to protect against UV radiation, as the brim shade the face. Prolimit has designed the fit so that vision is not obstructed. The ears are also protected, and an adjustable chin strap ensures a secure fit.
