Tweaked Jump
Jump with your tail first
The tweaked jump is usually useful for clearing seaweed off the foil. Just jump off, bend your hips, pull your front leg in, and extend your back leg in the direction of travel.
Seaweed comes off more easily this way, since the wind (or gravity) can dislodge it from the foil’s wings. But even without seaweed on the foil, you can still jump this way, simply to get used to board rotations during jumps.
Just before landing, pull your leg back so you land with your board in the normal position.
