2026 WingFoil Racing World Cup Switzerland

Kamil Manowiecki and Maddalena Spanu win the event at Lake Silvaplana

From June 16 to 20, 47 men and 10 women from 18 countries competed in the WingFoil Racing World Cup at Lake Silvaplana in Switzerland, held as part of the Engadinwing event.

The wind cooperated for the most part, allowing 15 races to be held on the Swiss lake during the qualifying round. Almost without exception, the sailors used large double-layer wings, which allow for higher speeds and upwind performance in light winds.

There were no surprises in the final round – Poland's Kamil Manowiecki won the men's event ahead of Francesco Cappuzzo (ITA) and Alessandro Tomasi (ITA). Julien Rattotti (FRA) finished in fourth place.

In the women's competition, Italy's Maddalena Spanu prevailed over Vaina Picot (FRA), Yana Li (CHN), and Klara Chalupnikova (CZE).
