Duotone Foilwave 2026 in Cold Hawaii

The contest kicks off on the first weekend of September

This coming Friday, the Foilwave kicks off in Denmark - a mobile wing, parawing and prone foil contest held in the waves at the foil spots around Nørre Vorupør, Klitmøller and Hanstholm - with Duotone as the title sponsor in 2026.

The forecast for the first weekend of the waiting period was so good that the event was given the green light. It kicks off on Friday (September 4, 2026) at 11 a.m. with registration, and a Super Session is scheduled to take place starting at 2 p.m. that day. The location will be announced shortly. At the same time, you’ll be able to test out Duotone’s 2027 gear on all three days.

The official competitions will then begin on Saturday and Sunday (September 5–6). The exact schedule and the specific event location will be announced based on current conditions.

Among those competing are last year's winner Benjamin May, last year's runner-up Benjamin Kohl, Klaas & Tebbe Voget and Theo Buchwald.

It's not too late to sign up - interested riders should register as soon as possible at redaktion@wingsurfersmagazin.de and specify the disciplines they'll be competing in. The entry fee is 25 euros for adults and 15 euros for riders under 18.
